Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (4/11/2024) at 13:31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, shallots, bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, and packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, tongkol fish, bandeng fish, kembung fish, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp320 (1.12%) to Rp28,770 per kg. Kembung fish experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp610 (1.66%) to Rp36,180 per kg.
