Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region, Saturday (June 1st): What's the Price of Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (1/6/2024) at 11:26 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, premium rice, broiler chicken, red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, pure beef, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp480 (4.09%) to Rp12,220 per kg. Red onion had the lowest price decrease of Rp5,080 (11.08%) to Rp40,770 per kg.
