West Java Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Fish Prices Down (Sunday, December 10, 2023)

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (10/12/2023) at 09.30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, premium rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, fine iodized salt, red chili peppers, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp5,470 (6.65%) to Rp87,770 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp2,540 (6.7%) to Rp35,380 per kg.
