Lampung Food Price Update Today: Rice and Egg Prices Increase (Friday, March 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (March 8, 2024) at 13:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, shallots, dry soybean (import), red chilies, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most by Rp620 (2.25%) to Rp28,120 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn decreased the most by Rp540 (6.72%) to Rp7,500 per kg.
