Latest Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice, Oil, and Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (22/12/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp8,860 (20.32%) to Rp52,460 per kg. Shallot prices experienced the largest decrease, falling Rp1,620 (4.01%) to Rp38,790 per kg.
