Food Prices in South Sumatra Thursday (31/7), What is the Price of Fish?

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (July 31, 2025) at 12:20 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include milkfish, large red chili, packaged wheat flour, broiler eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, consumption salt, garlic bulb, pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest increase of Rp776 (1.54%) to Rp51,018 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red cayenne pepper saw the sharpest decrease of Rp706 (1.62%) to Rp42,891 per kg.
