Aceh Region Food Prices Wednesday (3/7): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (3/7/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium-grain rice, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, chicken meat, shallots, and shallots cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,320 (5.35%) to Rp45,700 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the steepest decline, dropping Rp9,470 (27.51%) to Rp24,960 per kg.
