Food Prices Today (31/12) in South Sumatra: Red Chili and Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (31/12/2025) at 16:34 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, curly red chili, large red chili, red onion, and premium packaged palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp834 (1.41%) to Rp60,167 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of premium packaged palm cooking oil experienced the deepest decrease of Rp500 (2.47%) to Rp19,750 per liter.
