The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in West Papua is the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, March 18, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 15,650 per kg for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, March 18, 2022. Overall, this week's average price is lower than the previous week's average of Rp 15,930 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in modern markets in West Papua was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 20,750 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) in this province is lower; previously it was recorded at Rp 22,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in North Kalimantan, branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) was sold at Rp 20,600 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) was Rp 17,750 per kg in Aceh, Rp 17,150 per kg in North Sulawesi, and Rp 15,950 per kg in North Sumatra.

Meanwhile, there are 10 provinces with branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for branded packaged cooking oil (type 2) are Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
