Latest Food Prices in Banten Region: Rice, Oil, and Red Chili Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (10/27/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include consumption salt, pure beef, skipjack tuna, packaged cooking oil, and frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, large red chili, fresh buffalo meat (local), broiler chicken meat, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity surged the highest by Rp248 (2.53%) to Rp10,040 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic bulb fell the deepest by Rp1,565 (4.17%) to Rp36,000 per kg.
