Central Java Food Prices Tuesday (26/11): Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (26/11/2024) at 16.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, broiler chicken, red chilies, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of farmer-level corn saw the highest increase, jumping Rp130 (2.54%) to Rp5,240 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp1,060 (4.05%) to Rp25,110 per kg.
