Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region, Wednesday (27/11): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

Food prices in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (27/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice (SPHP), bulk wheat flour, medium rice, red chilies, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, red onions, iodized fine salt, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp890 (6.2%) to Rp15,240 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel saw the largest decrease of Rp1,340 (3.65%) to Rp35,370 per kg.
