Indonesia's Daily Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 12:48 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 16 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, pure beef, Minyakita, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, table salt, red chilies, and large red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up Rp162 (2.66%) to Rp6,247 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was observed in curly red chilies, down Rp788 (1.51%) to Rp51,277 per kg.
