The Price of Super II Quality Rice in West Sumatra is the Highest in Indonesia (Tuesday, January 25, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 13,640 per kg for Super II quality rice (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 13,570 per kg.

The price of Super II quality rice in modern markets in West Sumatra was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 17,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of Super II quality rice in this province is lower; previously it was recorded at Rp 17,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Java, Super II quality rice was sold at Rp 15,800 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of Super II quality rice in North Kalimantan was Rp 14,650 per kg, North Sumatra Rp 14,350 per kg, and West Papua Rp 14,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, nine provinces had Super II quality rice sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for Super II quality rice were East Java, North Sulawesi, and Bali.
