Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Chicken, Rice, and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (23/12/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, SPHP rice, mackerel, chicken meat, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, pure beef, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,450 (4.75%) to Rp31,970 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots saw the sharpest price drop of Rp1,060 (2.73%) to Rp37,800 per kg.

6. Chicken Meat: Rp36,450 per kg (up 0.16%)
7. Milkfish: Rp32,740 per kg (up 1.8%)
8. Mackerel: Rp31,970 per kg (up 4.75%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,020 per kg (up 1.24%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,360 per kg (up 0.2%)
