East Java Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down (Saturday, April 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (13/4/2024) at 10:12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, shallots, medium-grain rice, iodized fine salt, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp5,490 (15.88%) to Rp40,060 per kg. Mackerel experienced the lowest price decrease, down by Rp1,580 (4.72%) to Rp31,880 per kg.

9. Mackerel: Rp31,880 per kg (down 4.72%)
