Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Down

Today, the prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (14/11/2025) at 02:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include bulk cooking oil, packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, large red chili, garlic, chicken eggs, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili recorded the highest increase of Rp1,760 (6.97%) to Rp27,023 per kg. Consumer salt prices saw the sharpest decline of Rp510 (4.18%) to Rp11,696 per kg.
