Food Prices on Saturday (May 25th) in Yogyakarta: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (25/5/2024) at 14.34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are shallots and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and shallots have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp200 (0.46%), reaching Rp43,720 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp440 (1.18%), reaching Rp36,910 per kg.
