Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Rice, Buffalo Meat, and Onion Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (3/9/2025) at 11:04 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include fresh buffalo meat (local), red onion, curly red chili, skipjack tuna, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, and mackerel scad decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity jumped highest by Rp8,992 (18.44%) to Rp57,756 per kg. The price of large red chili, meanwhile, saw the sharpest decrease of Rp50,500 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
