Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Saturday, April 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:02 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, dry imported soybeans, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of shallots saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,110 (5.58%) to Rp39,910 per kg. The price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp4,400 (9.57%) to Rp41,580 per kg.
