The daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in Papua Province has increased by 0.27% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in Papua Province is recorded at Rp18,450. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, as is the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18,400.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in Papua over the past three months has increased by 1.1% from the previously recorded price of Rp18,250.

The record high for the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2022 with an increase of 19.11%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2022 with a decrease of -15.73%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Papua show seven commodities decreased and 13 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Garlic, Red Chili, Rice, Medium Quality Rice I, and Medium Quality Rice II.
