Banten Region Food Prices Today: Salt Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (27/11/2024) at 12.06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp460 (4.42%), reaching Rp10,860 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the sharpest decrease of Rp600 (7.48%), reaching Rp7,420 per kg.
