Jambi Region Food Prices, Wednesday, August 7th: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (7/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, fine iodized salt, SPHP rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,190 (5.31%) to Rp23,590 per kg. Red chilies saw the steepest price decrease, down by Rp4,230 (6.53%) to Rp60,520 per kg.
