Food Prices Today, December 16, in West Java: Raw Chili, Rice, and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (December 16, 2025) at 6:22 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 4 commodities decreased.

The only commodity with an increased price was broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red shallots, medium rice, red raw chili, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp267 (0.87%) to Rp30,817 per kg. Red shallot prices experienced the sharpest decline of Rp1,700 (3.79%) to Rp43,175 per kg.

9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (stable)
