Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Prices of Onions, Rice, and Chilies Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (14/9/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, premium rice, fine iodized salt, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,860 (7.13%) to Rp27,930 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,220 (3.03%) to Rp39,010 per kg.
