Food Prices Today, January 30, in South Sumatra: Chicken Meat and Onion Prices Fall

Today, the prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (30/1/2026) at 17:38 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 3 commodities decreased.

The only commodity whose price increased was red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, premium rice, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The red bird's eye chili commodity surged the highest by Rp417 (0.83%) to Rp50,417 per kg. As for red onion prices, they fell the sharpest by Rp416 (1.06%) to Rp38,667 per kg.
