Sumatera Selatan Food Price List Today: Chicken and Salt Prices Rise (Saturday, April 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/4/2024) at 11:21 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp5,400 (10.94%) to Rp54,740 per kg. Chicken eggs saw the lowest price decrease, down by Rp530 (1.83%) to Rp28,460 per kg.
