Bali's Current Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (24/5/2024) at 15.41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, fine iodized salt, dry soybean (import), milkfish, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken meat saw the highest price increase of Rp1,580 (3.93%) to Rp41,770 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp980 (2.74%) to Rp34,820 per kg.
