South Sumatra Food Prices Saturday (11/10): Bird's Eye Chili Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (11/10/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler eggs, skipjack tuna, medium rice, consumption sugar, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dried soybean (imported), consumption salt, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest increase of Rp431 (1.52%) to Rp28,875 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices saw the deepest decline of Rp1,529 (2.77%) to Rp53,625 per kg.
