West Java Food Prices on Monday (March 10th): Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (10/03/2025) at 14.40 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, premium rice, Minyakita (a brand of cooking oil), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, chicken eggs, large red chilies, curly red chilies, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Table salt prices surged the highest, increasing by Rp287 (2.82%) to Rp10,475 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chilies saw the steepest price decrease, dropping by Rp6,277 (11.23%) to Rp49,596 per kg.
