Today's Food Prices in West Java: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (22/4/2024) at 14:29 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, tongkol fish, pure beef, red chilies, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, broiler chicken, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,620 (7.53%) to Rp37,430 per kg. Broiler chicken experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,150 (2.93%) to Rp38,130 per kg.
