Food Prices Wednesday (August 7th) Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of cooking oil, chicken, and salt increase.

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (7/8/2024) at 12.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, milkfish, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, pure beef, red chili peppers, bulk cooking oil, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp310 (2.65%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Red onion prices saw the steepest decrease, down by Rp1,040 (4.99%) to Rp19,790 per kg.
