Current Food Prices in West Sumatra, What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (30/11/2024) at 12.09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, farmer-level corn, Indian mackerel, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, shallots, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,480 (3.98%) to Rp38,680 per kg. Milkfish experienced the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp2,970 (8.87%) to Rp30,500 per kg.
