West Java Food Prices Tuesday (24/12): Sugar Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (24/12/2024) at 09.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, broiler chicken, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour saw the highest price increase of Rp130 (1.29%) to Rp10,200 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel decreased the most, by Rp2,480 (6.14%) to Rp37,890 per kg.
