East Java Food Prices Tuesday (26/11): Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (26/11/2024) at 09.12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice (SHPB), medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) showed the highest price increase of Rp490 (5.02%), reaching Rp10,260 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel experienced the largest price drop of Rp3,420 (10.3%), reaching Rp29,800 per kg.

9. Red Chili Peppers: Rp23,670 per kg (down 2.03%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,200 per liter (down 0.23%)
