Food Prices in South Sumatra Sunday (14/9), What is the Price of Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (14/9/2025) at 14.34 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include large red chili, curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, Minyakita cooking oil, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, milkfish, dried soybeans (imported), red onion, and tuna decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili saw the highest jump of Rp2,619 (5.01%) to Rp54,857 per kg. The price of milkfish dropped the sharpest by Rp368 (1.29%) to Rp28,222 per kg.
