Banten Region Food Prices Saturday (June 8th): Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (8/6/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, granulated sugar, shallots, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, iodized fine salt, mackerel, red chilies, and red cayenne peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices increased the most by Rp4,300 (3.17%) to Rp140,000 per kg. Mackerel prices decreased the least by Rp5,970 (16.6%) to Rp30,000 per kg.
