Banten Region Food Prices Tuesday (August 6th): Oil and Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (6/8/2024) at 14:48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), Indian mackerel, premium rice, garlic bulbs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp610 (1.59%) to Rp38,980 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the largest price drop of Rp860 (3.38%) to Rp24,600 per kg.
