Today's Food Prices in Banten: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (28/4/2024) at 17.13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, iodized fine salt, pure beef, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, medium rice, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by Rp13,370 (35.75%) to Rp50,770 per kg. The price of dry soybean (import) decreased the least, by Rp330 (2.21%) to Rp14,620 per kg.
