Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Prices of Chicken Meat, Chilies, and Onions Increase

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (25/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, red chilies, mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp3,290 (10.09%) to Rp35,890 per kg. Chicken eggs experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp900 (3.33%) to Rp26,100 per kg.
