Banten Region Food Prices Saturday (25/5): Prices of Salt, Onions, and Chilies Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (25/5/2024) at 14.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase of Rp420 (2.96%) to Rp14,610 per kg. Red chilies saw the largest price decrease of Rp3,230 (8.35%) to Rp35,430 per kg.
