South Sumatra Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Saturday, February 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (3/2/2024) at 10:30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, Indian mackerel, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, pure beef, shallots, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,950 (9.96%) to Rp54,660 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,380 (4.52%) to Rp29,140 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,300 per kg (down 0.53%)
