Food Prices Friday (7/11) West Java Region: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Salt Drops

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (7/11/2025) at 08.44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 6 increased and 17 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were pure beef, medium rice, corn at farmer level, garlic cloves, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, skipjack tuna, shallots, large red chili, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp882 (2.43%) to Rp37,188 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel prices fell the deepest by Rp3,561 (8.23%) to Rp39,727 per kg.

5. Mackerel: Rp39,727 per kg (down 8.23%)
6. Shallots: Rp39,647 per kg (down 4.49%)
7. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp37,188 per kg (up 2.43%)
8. Milkfish: Rp36,545 per kg (down 4.05%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,182 per kg (down 2.18%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp35,563 per kg (down 3.29%)
