Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (10/5/2024) at 13:55 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chilies, shallots, garlic bulbs, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), milkfish, broiler chicken, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,470 (5.57%), reaching Rp46,790 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the lowest price decrease of Rp600 (2.11%), reaching Rp27,790 per kg.
