Central Java Food Prices Friday (November 29th): Salt, Egg, and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (29/11/2024) at 16:28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, red chilies, iodized fine salt, bulk wheat flour, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, mackerel, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp620 (2.43%) to Rp26,160 per kg. Mackerel experienced the sharpest price drop, falling by Rp270 (0.86%) to Rp31,000 per kg.
