Daily Red Chili Prices in Traditional Markets in Papua Province Have Fallen 29.2% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in Papua Province is recorded at Rp85,200. This price is down Rp2,650 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp90,100.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in Papua over the past three months has increased by 28.51% from a previous trading price of Rp66,300.

The record high for the daily price of red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in August 2023 with an increase of 61.85%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in August 2023 with a decrease of -39.66%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Papua show three commodities decreased and 28 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Daily Curly Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province.
