Latest West Java Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

Food prices in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday (23/02/2025) at 09.53 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, pure beef, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, medium rice, packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,573 (3.19%) to Rp50,810 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp966 (2.62%) to Rp35,912 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,088 per kg (down 0.53%)
9. Milkfish: Rp35,912 per kg (down 2.62%)
