Today's Food Prices January 14 in DKI Jakarta: Onions Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (January 14, 2026) at 17:57 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 6 commodities decreased.

The only commodity that saw a price increase was Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, medium rice, broiler eggs, red bird's eye chili, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic commodity surged the highest by Rp250 (0.63%) to Rp39,983 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili decreased the most by Rp750 (1.31%) to Rp56,500 per kg.
