Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Beef, Onions, and Chicken Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (25/10/2024) at 10:50 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, red chili, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp320 (2.73%), reaching Rp12,050 per kg. Red onion prices, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp1,970 (7.78%), reaching Rp23,350 per kg.
