Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Today: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (26/5/2024) at 15.05 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, shallots, red chilies, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most by Rp240 (0.91%) to Rp26,730 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the least by Rp1,400 (3.3%) to Rp41,000 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in South Sumatra according to Bapanas as of May 26, 2024, at 15.05 WIB.
